Our peer spaces
What Are Peer Spaces?
Peer Spaces at Recovery Cymru are safe, supportive environments where individuals can connect with others who understand their journey. Whether you’re in recovery yourself, supporting someone, or seeking guidance, our peer-led groups and one-to-one support sessions provide the opportunity to share experiences, offer support, and build meaningful connections.
Types of Peer Spaces Available
We offer a range of Peer Spaces to suit different needs and preferences. Whether you’re looking for group support or one-to-one conversations, there’s a place for you.
-
Support Groups:
- Structured Groups: These groups follow a set agenda or focus on specific recovery-related topics. They provide a framework for individuals to share, learn, and grow within a guided setting.
- Unstructured Groups: More relaxed and informal, these sessions allow members to connect and share their experiences freely, without a set agenda. These groups foster organic conversation and mutual support.
- Family & Friends Group: Support for loved ones of individuals struggling with substance use or in recovery.
- Mixed Groups: Welcoming all individuals in recovery to connect, share, and support one another.
-
One-to-One Peer Support:
- For those who prefer individual support, our peer mentors are available for one-to-one sessions, offering a compassionate listening ear and guidance through recovery.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Our Peer Spaces are designed for individuals in in recovery who are looking for ongoing support as they continue their journey.
